Hill City Ice Queen was founded by Bethany Marx when she moved to Oneonta, New York from Fairbanks, Alaska in 2015. ​

​

Since then the company has grown to offer over twenty five characters. Our company mission is to provide affordable, magical experiences for children of all ages by creating authentic, unique, and interactive parties, special events, and fundraisers. Our appearances include private parties and public events, as well as visits to local hospitals and for charitable institutions. 

​

Our performers are theatrically trained and well-versed, not only in movie details, but also facts about the time periods, customs, and locations of each story. We are as comfortable in character as we are just being ourselves! And we sing too!

Our costumes are all professionally fitted, hand-crafted, and inspired by your favorite movies and storybook illustrations. Most of our costumes are completely one of a kind!

 

We are an inclusive company that supports the idea that anyone—boy, girl, gender expansive, sick or healthy, disabled, neuro-divergent, young or old—can be a princess and deserves our love and respect. We teach kindness, inclusiveness, open-mindedness, and acceptance with everything we do.
